How much does legal AI cost for a solo attorney?
With Amara, a solo attorney pays $49 for the first month and then $69 a month + applicable taxes for one license. That license covers the legal AI, matters, documents and the CRM. There is a 30-day trial, no minimum term, and onboarding and initial setup are provided at no cost.
The point of a single license is that a solo attorney can research, draft and manage cases and clients without paying for several separate tools. The copilot already knows the matter you are working on, Amara Work can prepare a complete piece of work from one instruction under your supervision, and leads and clients sit on the same board as the matters they turn into.
How does the 30-day trial work?
You start the 30-day trial with your email and use Amara on your own work: open matters, upload documents, ask the copilot for an analysis or a draft and assign a task to Amara Work. There is no lock-in, so if Amara does not fit your practice you simply cancel.
LexCRM has its own offer: the first 3 months are free, after which it costs $9.99 a month + applicable taxes. It suits firms that first want to organize leads, intake and follow-up before bringing AI into their matters.

Amara’s US prices are public and stated in US dollars, per license. All prices on this page exclude applicable taxes, which are added where required. With 1,374,720 active resident attorneys in the US (ABA National Lawyer Population Survey, 2025), Amara is priced for solo attorneys and small firms, while also serving firms with several offices.
Amara Work and Amara Advanced are part of the plans, but the most demanding assignments may carry an additional cost. Founding firms in the US will have their own launch terms.
