Official entrance exam for the judiciary and public prosecution service in Spain
We put Amara, with its Spanish legal corpus, the Amara Advanced model and Amara Work, through the first paper of the 2025 call of Spain's General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ), held on 1 February 2026. Using the official scoring formula, the net mark was 98.67 out of 100.
United Kingdom: Amara's result on UK professional exam questions, with the full methodology: coming soon. We will publish it once the UK corpus is complete.
Amara is a legal artificial intelligence platform for solicitors, barristers and law firms, developed in Spain since 2022, with more than four years of development. It works as a legal copilot inside each matter and across the whole firm: it knows the client, the documents and what has already been done, it thinks before it answers and, with Amara Work, it does the work for you.
Unlike a general-purpose AI such as ChatGPT, Amara relies on a legal corpus with verifiable references and brings in the firm's management: CRM, matters and library. For the UK, we are building that corpus starting with England and Wales, in three layers: legislation, case law and assimilated law.
Not all legal AI tools are the same. The difference lies in the context they know and in whether they only answer or actually do the work. Amara sits at level 4, where the AI does the work.
Analyses the file you upload in that chat. This is where most tools stop.
Remembers what has been said and several documents in one workspace.
Works inside the case: the client, the facts, the documents and the tasks.
Your personal assistant. It knows all your matters, clients and deadlines and does the work: with Amara Work, one instruction is enough to prepare a whole matter. This is where Amara sits.
In the UK there are already several AI tools for lawyers that answer a legal question well. The difference lies in everything else: legal reasoning, sources, the context they know and the ability to work on their own.

Amara in figures (October 2026)
Before answering, Amara understands your question, the context of the case and what is already in your firm, and reasons about all of it. That is why its answers are grounded in your matter, not in a generic model.
Outside and inside the case, in the firm and across the whole network. If you want a legal conversation, you have it; if you want help with your cases, you have it; if you want an agent to prepare the case for you, you have that too.
The legal chat for quick queries, with the corpus behind it.
The copilot inside each matter: it knows the facts, the documents and what has already been done.
Advanced reasoning over the whole matter, for complex cases.
The key to it all: an AI that works for you. Give it one instruction and it prepares the whole piece of work.
Amara WorkAmara is like a team of assistants in your firm. Work the way you want: alongside you on a specific case or across the whole firm at once.
A bundle of hundreds of pages that Amara reads and summarises in minutes. What used to take an afternoon becomes the starting point.
AI does not replace your judgement: it takes the mechanical work off your hands so you can focus on deciding, negotiating and advocating.
The sole practitioner works with support that only large firms used to have.
The feature that changes the way you work
Instead of asking questions, you assign the work. With a single instruction, Amara Work prepares a whole matter: it reads the documents, spots what is missing, drafts the pleadings and correspondence needed and saves them to the matter for you to review.

Amara remembers the context, documents and actions of each matter. Ask it for an analysis or a draft and it already knows the case.

When the case calls for it, Amara Advanced reasons over the whole matter and gives you more in-depth work.

All your cases on one board with the firm's real stages, from first contact to closure.

In Spain, Amara works with Asesor.Legal, where thousands of people ask legal questions every month. When someone needs a lawyer, Amara prepares the case and presents it to lawyers on LexMarket. LexMarket opens country by country; in the UK, coming soon.
They explain their problem and the assistant answers their first questions.
It identifies whether they need a lawyer, the area of law and the urgency.
With a summary, the key details and how well it fits your firm.
They see the case and the terms and, if they accept it, contact the client directly.
When you accept a case on LexMarket, it is yours alone and no other lawyer sees it. This is the model that works in Spain; we will announce the UK date to our founding firms first.
Amara does not only work on your cases: it also helps you win the next ones.
With instructions ready for client intake: it replies, follows up and leaves no opportunity unanswered.
Each enquiry has an owner and a dated next action, and there are alerts for stalled cases.
Client letters and requests for documents drafted in seconds and sent from the matter.
We design agents with you for specific processes, always with human oversight and with no initial design fee.

Amara connects to the firm's everyday tools so you do not have to switch windows.

Android and iOS, on phone and tablet
Two apps, one for each side of the ecosystem:
An assistant that helps, qualifies and organises. The person photographs the documents or the incident and shares them; Amara prepares the client and the lawyer and, when needed, recommends the right lawyer.
The whole matter in your hand and the "I'm in a hearing" mode: consult Amara in real time, your cases, files and photos, the counter-strategy and meeting recordings. Your firm with you, wherever you are.
Others stop at the chat. Amara closes the whole loop.
For every structure
Most legal AI tools were designed for one person in front of a chat. Amara was designed for the whole organisation: it adapts to the structure of your firm and works at the right level, on one case, in one team, in one office or across the whole network.
Your workspace, your cases and your library. Amara knows your whole practice and works with you like a team of assistants.
Each lawyer has their own account and the firm decides which cases and documents are shared and which are kept separate.
Management and Amara can see what is happening in every office and with every lawyer: cases, deadlines, workload and results.
A shared brand with associated firms, several offices and practice areas. Each firm keeps its own information and only shares what it decides; head office manages the whole organisation.
Upload the judgments that support your position and your precedents. Amara works with that knowledge when you decide and drafts in your firm's style, not from a generic template.
Names and identifying details are replaced with codes, and only whoever holds the key can re-identify the people. It is still personal data under the UK GDPR.
Identifying details are removed irreversibly and no one can re-identify the people.

Amara's UK legal corpus, starting with England and Wales (the UK has three legal jurisdictions: England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Amara does not answer from the model's memory alone: it searches the corpus first, cites the section and the instrument and checks that the reference exists and was in force on the date of the facts. When it cannot find a reliable source, it says so. That is how it works today in Spain, with almost 3 million legal units, and that is how it will work in the UK.
